Mmmm! What a delicious treat for dogs of all shapes and sizes!

This will give you 30 muffins, but you could also make a cake – just remember portion control!

Pupcake Ingredients
¼ cup of unsweetened apple sauce
3 cups of water
¼ teaspoon of vanilla
1 beaten egg
3 tablespoons of honey
4 cups of wholewheat flour
1 tablespoon of baking powder
¾ cup of chopped apple

Frosting Ingredients
½ cup of natural peanut butter
¼ cup of small dry dog treats

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°.
  2. Lightly grease enough muffin tins for 30 pupcakes, or cook in batches.
  3. In a bowl, combine the apple sauce, water, vanilla, egg, and honey.
  4. In another bowl, mix the flour, and baking powder.
  5. Slowly add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  6. And then stir in the chopped apple.
  7. Pour your pupcake mix into your lightly greased muffin tins and bake for about 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
  8. When the pupcakes are cooked, cool them on a wire rack.
  9. Once the pupcakes are cooled you can frost them with peanut butter and decorate them with dry kibble.

Bon Appetit!
