Add extras to your
Best in Show Cover
Unexpected vet visits can be costly. Help protect your pet and give them the cover they deserve. The short version: Best in Show Cover looks after the unexpected, the accidents and illnesses you can't see coming. But a lot of caring for a pet is the everyday stuff, and some of the in-between stuff too. That's where Routine Care (a non-insurance benefit) and Booster Care come in.
They're both optional add-ons you can pop onto any level of cover. One helps with the predictable bits of keeping your pet well. The other helps with specific treatments like dental work and specialised therapies. Add one, add both, or leave them, it's your call, and it's easy to change your mind later.
Better wellbeing
with Routine Care
For the bits you can see coming
Some pet costs turn up right on schedule. The annual check-up, the vaccinations, the flea and worm treatments you set a phone reminder for. Routine Care helps you claw a little back on all of it.
Add Routine Care to your policy and you can claim up to $150 a year towards routine and preventative care — the everyday upkeep that keeps small problems small and your vet seeing your pet regularly.
From specified dental conditions to procedures, tests and legally prescribed medicine for the specialised therapy items to the value of $2,000 per year.⌔
What's included:
· Desexing
· Vaccinations
· Health checks
· Microchipping
· Heartworm preventative
· Prescription diets
· Puppy pre-school and obedience training
· Flea, tick and worm control
· FeLV and FIV, and heartworm tests
· Wellness blood screen
· Nail clippings
Routine Care is a non-insurance benefit, so it works a little differently to the rest of your cover — you claim back up to the $150 yearly limit, and your benefit percentage doesn't apply to these items.
Top-shelf wellbeing
with Booster Care
A bit more cover for the specific stuff
Some treatments sit outside everyday care but still matter enormously — dental work that's crept up over the years, or a course of physio after an injury. Booster Care is the optional extra that helps with those.
Add it to your policy and you'll have a $2,000 annual limit for a range of specified dental conditions and specialised therapies* — the kind of care that keeps your pet comfortable, mobile and feeling like themselves.

Change your mind down the track? That's fine too.
Not sure which one you need?
Easy way to remember it: Routine Care is for the regular, predictable care that keeps your pet well ($150 a year). Booster Care is for specific dental treatments and specialised therapies when they need a bit more ($2,000 a year). They do different jobs, so plenty of pet parents add both.
